About the Inventor

ROSA READY
Creator of The Suitcarte
Rosa is no stranger to travel.  In addition to owning timeshares in Hawaii and Cancun, she loves to take cruises.  In 2009, she returned home to San Francisco from a trip to Wisconsin in the early winter. She made her way down to baggage claim and gathered her luggage—she had a purse, a heavy jacket, 3 large suitcases  and a carry-on suitcase.  She realized she needed to rent an airport cart just to move all of her belongings 50 feet.  She wished there was some way to stack all of her belongings onto her large suitcase, and that is how the idea of The Suitcarte was born.

As a mother of three, Rosa knows all about the importance of convenience.  The Suitcarte could also be used to carry a child’s car seat in addition to multiple luggage items.

Even if you are not a parent, most people seek convenience when they travel, whether it is for business or pleasure.  Don’t wait until you get to your destination to let your vacation begin. The Suitcarte will make airport departure and arrival a piece of cake.

About Suitcarte

USER SCENARIO
The Suitcarte comes in handy at an airport baggage claim .  Even if the traveler knows she has a lot of luggage items to retrieve, she can easily:
  • Bypass the rolling-cart rental station, and head straight to the carousel.
  • Position the Suitcarte horizontally on the ground; it rests on four wheels (two of which swivel).
  • Stack retrieved luggage items right on top of the Suitcarte.
  • Permanent adjustable straps can be connected to an attachment point to secure additional stacked items. Extend the telescoping handle; lock the handle in place at the desired angle.
  • Comfortably and safely pull the Suitcarte, like a wagon, through the airport with one hand!
  • When she’s ready to leave the terminal, she doesn’t have to worry about dropping off, or abandoning, a rented rolling cart. She’s used her own suitcase to independently carry additional luggage pieces.

The Suitcarte is also great for a student, for example, who is dropped off at the airport with more luggage than her two hands can carry. Her suitcase can double as a cart. She can stack her luggage items securely, and pull her Suitcarte with ease toward the ticket counter—no need to look for a rental-cart station; no mental and physical stress. It’s also great for those traveling with an infant who has to use a car seat on an airplane. Strap the infant carrier or car seat on the  Suitcarte hand-carry. Place the diaper bag on the carrier cradle. Secure both with the permanent strap and proceed to the security check without any difficulty.

  • Hiring a porter or renting a cart won't be necessary. No need to figure out what to do with the cart after it’s not needed.
